I'm back!!
Today, I took a loooong break from reports to do some finishing. As I was eating some delicious local strawberries, I remembered that I stitched a sweet strawberry freebie design, (which you can email Cathy for here), a couple of weekends ago. I had my finish in mind and cut out all the pieces to make the pillow but never got around to putting it together. Well, today I needed some respite (or call it procrastinating) and took out the sewing machine and got to work. As a side note, Lynn from Kearnel's Korner and me seem to have the same tastes when it comes to designs. Take a look at her stunning Maisonette aux Fraises finish! The little pin on top of the bow was made by one of my dearest friends since childhood. It's the cutest little pink mushroom and I think it works perfectly!
I also sewed up that cute little PS Spring design and still need to add some trim to add to my smalls basket.
After my crazy post the other night, I stitched the border Hannah. When I took the photo, I realized I have a lot of those blooms to stitch! Each one takes about an hour to do. Really looking forward to finishing this sampler and starting another!
A couple of photos from the past few weeks when the weather has been nice to us. Can you spy me?!
Of course I can't do a post with out my little report card helper, Titus. I just wish I could train him to actually write!!
Hugs to you all and thank you all for your support and cheering on!!
Updated twice... forgot to add a photo of Hannah AND Titus?!?!! Where is my mind?!

Ah, such lovely finishes! And Hannah is looking so great! Isn't it funny how we all start dreaming about the finish before we're finished? lol! I found you in the pictures! Love that pic. :D Say hi to Titus for Mia!
Super cute finish for that strawberry house. We really do have similar taste in designs....I stitched that one a while ago too!

I know where your mind is - turned to mush by writing report cards. It is such hard work and takes so much time and thought that it is all consuming. Titus has the right idea, look gorgeous and relax all day.
Hi Anne, Love the finish of your strawberry cushion, I think it may have prompted me to go see if I can get the chart too,who am I kidding of course it will. Titus looks such a laid back cat , sooo sweet.

The Strawberry pillow is so adorable! What a fantastic finish. I did just see Lynn's finish and noticed how similar it was to yours. The flower border on Hannah is very pretty. Titus reminds me of my cat, Bubbles!

Good for you for taking a break from school work and doing something just for you, Anne! Love your finishes so much...I did the strawberry house one last June for my bowl of strawberries. It was such a fun stitch, wasn't it?
Hope the stress of the end of the school year passes quickly and you find yourself with a relaxing and long summer break :)
Oh Anne, I adore your finish of Maisonnette!! It's just sooo sweet! Gotta say that those strawberries look pretty yummy too.
I can't imagine how much work is involved with report cards. Poor you! Hopefully they'll be behind you soon and you can relax with your favourite helper, Titus. He's such a sweetie! Give him a kiss for me.
Hello, sweetie!
After a long time without stop by the blogs I come to yours to see the wonders that have embroidery and to send you a big hug.
I fell in love with this chalet des perelles design... I really NEED stitch it.
A big hug for Titus too!
Your strawberry house is soooo cute! Very pretty :D Congrats on your work sweetie!!
Beautiful sweet finish for your strawberry sampler. Love how you quilted it into a pillow. Love the pinks:)Hannah is so pretty and those blooms on the border are STUNNING!
love Annette
Your fabric-framed strawberry piece is so adorable! Nicely done! All your pieces in your Summer Basket are terrific! I bet you will be much more relaxed by the end of this month! Funny how we are--we start a project, move along nicely, and then our minds wander to the next project to start! My method has been to get three out at one time... pick colors and fabric if not already done, and start on one. If I get bored, I pick up another... and so on... Seems to work for me right now! Hugs!
Love your strawberry finish. Such a sweet little piece. Hannah is looking good, that border will be worth it in the end.
"Maisonnette Aux Fraises" is just beautiful, Anne, and I love your sweet finish. You are making great progress on "Hannah" too...oh my goodness, what patience it must take to spend an hour on each one of those beautiful pink blooms! It will be gorgeous when it is finished, for sure.
Ah ha! I see you peeking through the brushes:) Bless sweet little Titus's heart...he looks like a fluff ball of love!
Blessings!
What a great strawberry house finish! Love it! Hannah is really coming along too. Good to take some time for yourself in the midst of responsibility things. I plan on going that tomorrow and playing with my Mary Wigham. She's growing...must blog! :)
Great strawberry finish, I just love how the basket looks! Now if we could only tran Toby and Titus to stitch as well as write!
Hannah Brassington 1779 looks so beautiful that it is going on my wish list. There is 30 blooms there, you are almost half way there! The basket of smalls looks adorable. All well done Anne!
Very pretty finish, and great going on the sampler!
Oh how I love your strawberry with pink finish! Too cute!!!!
Oh, so great, your smalls, and so creatively finished. I love them. I have been searching my stash for some strawberry charts but haven't found more than two or three - thanks for the link to Cathy's design. I know her blog but hadn't seen this little beauty yet.
Hannah has seen some nice progress. Hmmm, it's always a bit boring to stitch the borders of these samplers but in the end they look gorgeous.
