Time Keeps on Slipping

Into the future....wooyoo!

Well, can't believe my little guy is nearly a month old! He is growing and keeping his mommy up every 2-3 hours.  I'm learning to deal with this kind of sleep schedule but some days are worse than others.  I'm healing from my c-section but still can't carry my son as it's still very tender and sensitive.  We are busy moving and packing all of our stuff to our new place.  We move all of our furniture on the 27th of June so then we will be out of our apartment for good.  I hope no one is planning on sending me anything.  If you are, please email me and I'll give you my new address.  Stitching is a no go for now.  I have no desire to do it when I'm so sleep deprived.  I'm forgetting where I put stuff and even sprained my little toe and have no recollection of when/how I did it!! OI!!!  Here's some cute photos of my little one....plus Sarah Chapple where I left off before he was born.

Well, that's all for me until next time! I hope everyone is well and I thank you all for your lovely well wishes and congrats on his birth.  Hopefully I will get into a groove again. Right now it's just survival!  Titus has been a good guardian kitty but when Nathanael cries, he meows and it's quite the cacophony of loud crying and meowing!!

Hugs to you all!!

Oh Nathaneal is so cute, Anne! Love all the photos. Time certainly moves fast. Lovely Sarah Chappele. Just focus on this precious time and the desire and energy for stitching will come back. I don't have much time for stitching and blogging these days but I am trying to make it more important. :) Hope you feel better from the c-section soon.

Such gorgeous photos of Nathanael. Hard to believe he's nearly a month old already.

I hope the house move goes well and that your c-section wound starts to settle down soon.

What a beautiful little boy! Sarah will wait! The good news is , he will soon be sleeping and you will be feeling much better. I had two babies that kept me up. They are now 45 and 42!

What a beautiful and precious little boy!!! Cherish and enjoy these times with him because before you know it, he will be off to Kindergarten. I remember once my kids started school, they seemed to grow sooooo quickly!!!

And your stitching is just simply beautiful! I have Sarah Chappel in my stash to stitch!!!

What a beautiful baby boy, Anne!! I remember recovering from my c-sections ~ painful and frustrating that you can't carry and hold your baby. Hoping that you are feeling much better very soon!

Sarah is such a pretty sampler!

Oh Anne! Absolutely beautiful photos. Is there any way that someone can come in and watch Nathanael for 4-6 hours so you can get some sleep?
Or maybe someone from your family is there helping you? Maybe you can have a baby bottle or two for Nathanael for the time you can get some sleep. YOU are such a wonderful mommy! love Annette

Lovely photos of your bonnie boy Anne. It's not easy when you're not getting good quality sleep. Just sleep when Nathanael is sleeping and do what you can.

Nathaniel is certainly photogenic! Those are great photos to have.
Hope the move goes well! I'm sure you'll welcome the space.

What a beautiful blessing Nathanael is to your lives!
Hang in there. I went through that same sleep deprived routine for months with all three of them while nursing. In the night, you could bring him to bed and nurse on your side. You will both fall asleep.
Praying every day for you!

Your little boy is just adorable. A real cutie pie.
Things will become easier with time & you'll all find a routine. Don't worry about cross stitch. For now, your hobby is your baby :)
Take care xx

Anne, it's wonderful to see the photos of your new little family. Nathanael looks content and growing. You look like a new mom, tired but happy! I found the initial months the hardest. It will get easier.

Good luck with the moving. I'm sure I will see you soon over the summer!

He's so boo-ti-full, bless him. I love the "gassy smile" but I think he's drunk on oxytocin! I just adore that little expression.

I hated not being able to carry my younger after my section. I just sat on the sofa like a queen ordering people to "bring me my baby"! On the plus side it meant I didn't have to change a nappy for quite a while!

Just yesterday I was wondering how you were and hoping you would soon post! Your son is so precious. Love the photos. Hope the move goes well. Be careful!

Such sweet pictures! I hope you are slowly getting more sleep. I know it's weird to think this, but the time goes so fast, so enjoy every moment! Enjoy the sweet smelling diapers while they last (I'm assuming you're breast feeding!). lol! Enjoy that beautiful wee one! Good luck with your move! We moved when DS was 3 months old and that was hard enough!

Love the pictures!!
A new baby, no sleep, packing and moving.. RESPECT!!!!!
It's a hard time the first months, and even when you have c-section.
Try and rest as much as you can.
You have such a beautifull wonder in your atms.

Your stitching piece is wonderfull.
And it will come back, when you sleep more and your body is healing better.
Have so much fun with the little boy!!
Good luck moving

Oh what a cutie pie he is!! Gee, I will pray that he starts to sleep longer periods of time for you! It is a few days to the move, so you may not read this, but... take it slow! You don't need to overdo it. Just take it easy!

Congratulations, Anne, I am sorry that I haven't been by your blog for a while - I sort of lost track of it so I was wondering when the happy event would be. Nathaniel is gorgeous, you must be so proud. Sorry to hear that you had to have a caesarian, I know from experience how hard that is. Don't worry, you will get to get some sleep again - one day! Enjoy every day of your new life and the stitching and blogland is always here waiting for you. lots of love, Kaye xoxox
P.S. Good luck with the move, too - bigger home?

Kaisievic said...

P.S. I forgot to say how gorgeous Nathanael is - such a beautiful boy.

Brigitte said...

Oh Anne, I am melting when I look at all the wonderful pictures of your little beautiful boy. Enjoy your time with him and I hope that you will heal well from your cesarian.

Oh, such a sweet bundle of love little Nathanael is, Anne!! I showed his photos to my mom when I was visiting her this past weekend and she just loved them, too :)

I imagine you're both excited about and dreading your move tomorrow! It will be nice to have more space, but, oh, what a process... We moved four hours away when my youngest was just six weeks and I had a six and a two year old--exhausting!! But, take it day by day and tell yourself in times of stress "This, too, shall pass--tomorrow is another day!"

Hugs to you, my sweet friend...
