IHSW and Lovely Gifts!

Be prepared to look at a lot of photos! Get yourself a cup of tea, or coffee or whatever your choice of drink is because I will bombard you with loads of photos!!

First signs of spring:

A delightful evening at the symphony with my hubby:

IHSW Stitching:

I had to add some motifs on Hannah since stitching borders makes me restless.  I love that little basket of fruit!!

A quick freebie stitch from the Primitive Hare that I started and finished in one evening. I used HDF's Barnyard green silk.. an utterly delicious green! (Click on the link and it will take you to the freebie chart)

Found a better fabric choice for Baked Goods:

Picked up another thrifty treat to match our other orange 40's glass bowls:

My RAK I sent to Angela was received, so here it is:

Stitched on Navy Blue 32ct. lugana with Kodak Blue HDF silk
I'm glad she liked the package! I found this lovely freebie pattern from Whispered by the Wind website.

I received another order I made in January and was told by my hubby that I have ENOUGH FABRIC AND STRINGS TO LAST ME A LIFE TIME! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING MORE   :(  So now I can't....
40 ct. Newcastle linen in Mirage and Sand
Trying out Crescent Colours Threads
My first ever SANQ magazine...love it!!
And finally....the mailman/woman has been very good lately delivering me all sorts of gifties.  I received my beautiful giveaway wins from Angela and Lynn.  Thank you so much ladies! Your finishing skills are exquisite and both pieces I cherish so much and have displayed already in my living room.  Dear Lynn sent me a few little extras and threw in some crinkle toys for Titus to play with! There are two crinkle toys but one has disappeared somewhere! He loves them and sends you a big purr Lynn!!

Angela's box is so amazing! I will be trying out her tutorial one day and try to make one of my own!! Thank you again dear Angela!!

Lynn's pillow is so pretty and I love the little buttons and threads she added to the package.

 Hugs to you both!!

Blessings to you all!!

Looks like you've had a lovely week, Anne :) Can't believe your flowers are pushing up already! What a welcome sight... I do love your newest fabrics for your Baked Goods finishing :)

No more fabric? Ever? Ha ha--he doesn't know us stitchers very well, does he!! I think your choices are gorgeous and I know you'll love CC threads--they are my favorite overdyeds. The coverage just seems to be better.

Such pretty giveaway goodies from Lynn and Angela--enjoy :)

No more fabric? I am sure he meant you have enough fabric in that particular count or color, that's all!! :) :D
Enjoy your goodies

So pretty!!! Ok, I'm dense. Can you explain what Slan is??? lol! Love that freebie though. If I knew what Slan was......

A very interesting post! Love seeing flowers. We have some too! I would guess our weather is very similar. Your WIPS are so pretty and the gifts wonderful. Your poor hubby has joined the ranks of the husbands of stitchers. Long ago mine said," If you live to be 100, you will never get this all stitched."

What a great happy post Anne. The symphony hall looks gorgeous. Brian asks when I want to purchase more fabric, "Do you really NEED it?" Such beautiful projects AND gifts. Hooray for you!!

I think my DH has given up on trying to control my stash addiction. It keeps me out of his hair, lol!
BTW, I've been meaning to ask where you're purchasing your linens from.

It was so refreshing to actually see some flowers. There is hope! It's snowing here once more this morning.

Love your two finishes but I'm really hooked on Hannah. Thanks for enabling me, lol!
You're so lucky to be the recipient of one of Angela's box finishes. It looks gorgeous! Once again I'm so glad that you're happy with my package. Titus too!

Wonderful goodies both sent and received.
Funny how fast those cat toys fanish.
Tell your hubbie most of us have enough stash to last five life times so you need to catch up.

Gorgeous gifts.
At least you can promise not to buy any more "string", thread or floss is definitely not string!
I'm tempted by SANQ because I'm stopping one of my UK mag subs but it's an extra USD 20 to get it delivered to the UK.
